5 Immunity-Boosting Soup Recipes to Keep Handy In Monsoon

Monsoon season not just brings romantic showers but several diseases too. Soups play a significant role in boosting your immunity.

1. Cauliflower Soup Recipe



Ingredients

  • olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets

  • 5 carrots
  • Olive oil as required

  • 1 large onion
  • 2 garlic cloves

Method:

4. Seafood Soup



Ingredients:

  • 2 bowls of prawn shells
  • 1 bowl each of fresh Prawns and Squid
  • 1 onion
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 tomatoes
  • black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Olive oil
  • Coriander leaves

Method:

  • Clean the marine ingredients thoroughly

  • Meanwhile, saute all other ingredients except coriander in a deep pan. Add water and bring to a boil.

5. Paaya (Lamb Trotters) soup



Paaya soup is considered the healthiest soup of all and an instant immunity booster with high-level nutrition.

Ingredients:

  • 8 lamb trotters
  • salt as required
  • 2 green cardamom
  • 3 finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 tablespoon ginger paste
  • water as required
  • 1/2 tablespoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons ghee
  • 1 bowl of chopped coriander leaves

Method:

  • Wash the trotters thoroughly under running water. If needed, take some warm water to clean them thoroughly.
  • Take a pressure cooker. Add ghee and all the ingredients except water and salt to the ghee.
  • Stir fry for a few minutes, and then add the washed paaya pieces.
  • Fry for a few
  • Add water and salt and close the cooker with a lid.
