As science has mentioned time and again, a heavy breakfast is as important to ensure a great day ahead as consuming food is to your body. So, we bring to you a recipe list of breakfast smoothies that can be prepared using Hafele’s Vacuum Blender, ensuring that you consume a heavy breakfast and keep away from overeating your favourite dishes:

Coco Nog

A holiday sludge you absolutely cannot refuse.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups coconut milk
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • ½ tsp grated nutmeg
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp maple syrup

Method:

  • Add the coconut milk, bananas, yogurt, nutmeg, cinnamon and maple syrup to your Hafele Vacuum blender
  • Blend on high until all the ingredients are smooth and creamy
  • Serve in your favourite bowl

Cranberry Smoothie

It’s true, Berries and Christmas do go hand-in-hand.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Large banana
  • 20 fresh cranberries
  • 6 Strawberries
  • 400 ml Cranberry Juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cinnamon ground
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ginger ground

Method:

  • Add the bananas, berries, cranberry juice, cinnamon and ginger to your Hafele Vacuum blender
  • Blend on high until all the ingredients are smooth and cream
  • Pour into a glass and serve with toppings of your favourite berries.

Chocolate Peppermint Green Smoothie

Healthy and delicious, all at the same time.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups unsweetened coconut milk or almond milk
  • ½ avocado or banana
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon flax seeds
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 2 cups ice
  • 2 tablespoons whipped cream and fresh mint (optional)

Method:

  • Add the milk, banana, spinach, cocoa powder, flax seeds, maple syrup, peppermint extract, ice, and mint leaves to your Hafele Vacuum blender
  • Blend on high until all the ingredients are smooth and creamy
  • Garnish it with whipped cream, a few mint leaves, and grated chocolate, and then serve.

Gingerbread Smoothie

Christmas is incomplete without gingerbread.

Ingredients:

  • ½ frozen banana
  • 4 inch fresh ginger, chopped (no need to peel, just remove dry parts)
  • ¼ cup fat Greek yogurt¾ cup unsweetened soy milk
  • 2 tbsp vanilla flavored whey protein powder
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp flaked cereal

Method:

  • Add the banana, ginger, greek yogurt, milk, protein powder, flaxseed, cinnamon, and cereal to your Hafele Vacuum blender
  • Blend on high until all the ingredients are smooth and creamy
