SMALL APPLIANCES-Kettle

An electric kettle is a metallic vessel used for heating water and making hot beverages. A quality kettle such as the ones from Hafele Appliances will help you boil water for brewing herbal teas, cooking soups and instant noodles, and preparing ready to eat oats.

The Hafele Dome Electric Kettles are one of the top-notch models in the market today. To choose a quality kettle, you will need to check if it offers you a good capacity to boil water, excellent filters, temperature display, and adequate safety features

The stainless steel Dome Electric Kettle by Hafele brings you these features and more. It comes with a 1.7L capacity and is equipped with removable filters for easy cleaning of limescale. The kettle also comes with a temperature analog display that will enable you to boil water at the desired temperature as well as a water level indicator so that you may know how much water needs to be refilled inside the kettle.

Additionally, this kettle is also equipped with boil-dry protection. This safety feature cuts off the power when it senses that there is no water left in the kettle or that the water level is below the minimum level required (i.e. 0.7 L)

The Hafele Dome Electric Kettle is one of the healthiest electric kettles available in the market today as it is made from stainless steel instead of plastic or aluminium. Moreover, this kettle comes with a removable filter that safely restrains all the limescale from being poured into your drink. Overall, this kettle is a great option if you are on the lookout for healthy ways to boil water and pour it into your beverages.

Water contains minerals and as the water boils, some of those minerals get left behind and fall to the bottom of the kettle. After the water is boiled over and over in the kettle, this limescale will build upon the heating element and cause your kettle to be super inefficient.

To clean the bottom of the kettle of all limescale, simply add a solution made of equal parts water and distilled white vinegar until it is halfway full. Bring to a boil and then allow the boiled vinegar-water mixture to sit in the kettle for 15 or 20 minutes. Pour off the mixture and rinse the kettle. If there is still some leftover limescale inside the kettle, you can use the rough side of a sponge to remove it.
